While my Mom’s Alzheimer’s created “personality extremes”,
Carrie and Jenny led the staff in showing unconditional
acceptance and adapting the household to make life safe
and comfortable for my Mom and me. While maintaining a high
level of professionalism and sound judgment, they loved my Mom
and me. There is no other way to describe it. And, in their love
came the extraordinary support needed to make it through the
final hours. We were blessed to have Carrie and Jenny there and I
will never forget the gift of time and presence they gave. I am certain
my Mother chose to have Carrie and Jenny present. I could
not have made it through the emotion of her passing without
Carrie and Jenny.
